Helena first found yoga after recovering from a serious knee injury. Starting slowly, physically regaining her strength, it soon became much more than the physical practice and as she began noticing the positive effects off the mat, it became an intrinsic part of her life. Taking the leap of faith after exploring India, she took her teacher training in Spain, 2016.
Having started her yoga practice with an acute awareness of the importance of listening to your body; Helena’s 200hr Vinyasa flow grounding at Frog Lotus International, has given her a strong understanding of the biomechanics of the body, which complements her soft nurturing approach to teaching.
Helena encourages her students to tune in with their bodies and to focus on the breath as a guide to the practice. Leading her students through intelligently sequenced flows, with awareness and intention weaved in. Expect to get warm, be challenged, yet leave feeling connected and grounded.
