Elle Bower Johnston
After a childhood spent avoiding PE at all costs, Elle tentatively tried yoga in her early 20’s and fell in love with the connection to her body that it helped her experience. She has steadily become a dedicated practitioner and a complete body/movement dork ever since.
Elle teaches playful, down to earth, thoughtful classes inspired by her own self practice and and her 200hr teacher training with Naomi Anaand and Adam Hocke. Her group and private sessions weave flowing vinyasa yoga with elements of functional movement, Pilates, and restorative yoga practices, leaving students feeling strong, connected and embodied.
She’s passionate about making yoga welcoming to all. Her inclusive approach to yoga asana and philosophy makes her classes accessible to all students - regardless of their shape, size, or level of ability. Her aim is to empower students to listen to their bodies, find pleasure in movement and approach their practice with curiosity, compassion and awareness.
