Bec Thomas

ostepath & 350 hr Yoga Teacher

Bec trained as an Osteopath for four years at Oxford Brookes University where she graduated in 2015 with a Masters in Osteopathy. She worked in her home country, Northern Ireland for a year before moving to Brisbane, Australia where she worked as an Osteopath for three years.

Bec also works with us as a yoga teacher. She completed her 350-hour Yoga Teacher training in Australia and qualified in; vinyasa, hatha, yin, meditation, restorative, roll and release and pre- and post-natal yoga. Bec’s goal is to make yoga accessible and enjoyable for all levels.

Bec’s aim as an Osteopath is to help people discover how good their bodies can feel. A typical session may include; soft tissue massage, joint mobilisation, spinal manipulation, breathing techniques, goal-setting and you’ll never leave without some strength and conditioning homework!

Bec loves to treat a wide variety of issues, from everyday aches and pains to chronic pain. Over the years, she has developed a passion for neck pain, low back pain, running injuries, shoulder pain, pregnancy-related pain, scoliosis and Women’s Health issues. However, you don’t have to have pain or an injury to book an appointment with Bec, she believes preventative treatment is just as important!

Bec is available Tuesdays and Thursdays at Fix, East Village.

She is registered with the General Osteopathic Council and The Institute of Osteopathy.
