Niamh Burn


Niamh is a native of Dublin and qualified in Physiotherapy at Royal College of Surgeons, Dublin in 2003. She also has a BSc hons Physiology from the National University or Ireland, Galway which often comes in useful. She moved to the UK after graduating and has worked extensively throughout the NHS and private practice, in addition tomany years spent in the musculoskeletal and orthopaedic world.

She developed a keen interest in women's health and pelvic health 10 years ago when she was pregnant and got to know all about pelvic pain! She decided to make it her mission to work with women in at this stage of their lives and sought the training needed to do this.

Women's health became her personal passion and she really enjoys helping women with pregnancy and postpartum related conditions such as pelvic girdle pain, pelvic floor dysfunction, abdominal diastasis and urogynaecological issues like painful sex, urinary leaks and prolapse.

Her MSK and womens health (pelvic floor) background gives her a holistic approach and she has a keen interest in guiding women back to exercise or whatever makes them feel good post delivery.

Niamh is a member of the Pelvic Obstetric and Gynaecological Physiotherapists, a Mummy MOT practitioner and a recommended practitioner on the pelvic partnership website.  

When not at FIX you will probably find her on her bike or “hanging” in the park with her 3 boys.
