Laura Maidment

Osteopath

Laura graduated from the University College of Osteopathy, formerly the BSO in 2013 with distinction and the silver award for achievement.

She is accredited with the General osteopathic Council (GOsC) and is a member of the Institute of Osteopathy.

Over the last 10 years Laura has gained a wealth of experience treating patients in different clinics in and out of London.

She has completed courses in advanced cranial osteopathy with the Sutherland Institute, functional movement for performance and recovery with JEMS, pilates training with APPI for rehab incorporation with treatment plans, pre and post natal courses with the ‘Bump to baby’ series, dry needling acupuncture and taping techniques.

She is currently completing a 2 year diploma in women’s health with the Renzo Molinari Institute, to further her training in this area.

Laura uses a holistic approach and tailors her treatment plan and goals to each individual. She looks for the root cause of the issue, which may be away from the site of pain. Her treatment uses a combination of soft tissue release, manipulation, cranial, visceral and functional techniques to ensure the individual sees the greatest benefit from treatment.

She works at East Village Monday to Thursday.
