Sports Massage therapist
Lina has a BTEC Level-5 in Sport and Remedial Massage Therapy from the London School of Sports Massage (LSSM). She is a member of the Institute for Sport & Remedial Massage (ISRM) and is registered with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC).
Lina is passionate about physical and mental health and is a keen runner competing in various half marathon and 10k races. Whilst training for a half marathon, she sustained a hip injury and regular sports massage played a key role in her rehabilitation. She developed a keen interest in anatomy and rehabilitation and went on to study Sport and Remedial Massage Therapy at the LSSM.
Lina has worked with a variety of clients with different fitness levels, from rock climbers to speed skaters, as well as non-sport related clients from various occupational backgrounds. She works with her clients to achieve their goals, whether that’s recovering from an injury or managing postural tension and work related aches and pains.
Lina carries out a postural assessment and movement tests to identify areas of muscular dysfunction. She uses a variety of techniques, including myofascial release, deep tissue massage, neuromuscular technique and positional release, and provides stretches and exercises to help clients to maintain the benefits of massage post treatment.
