Jill was born in Boston, went to university in NYC (East Asian studies/art history), lived in Japan, The Netherlands and Norway, and came to London in 1999 for an MA and liked London so much she didn't want to leave!
She trained at the London School of Sports and Remedial Massage, which provides the highest level of training in the UK. She is a fully-qualified, registered and insured practitioner, and a full member of the Institute of Sports and Remedial Massage (ISRM), a professional body requiring high standards of practice and regular CPD.
Jill treats people who participate in fitness at all levels, as well as those suffering from postural and occupational problems that are not sport-related. Treatments are tailored to each client’s needs, ranging from relief from pain or stiffness, to recovery from injury, and integrate deep tissue massage, soft tissue release (STR/ART), stretching, trigger point therapy, muscle energy techniques (MET) and myofascial release. She also offers postural assessments, remedial and rehabilitation advice and kinesiology taping.
Her introduction to yoga (Iyengar) in 1993 was very important, and it's been part of her life ever since. She also cycles, runs and tries to be outside as much as possible!
