Sally was drawn to counselling while working in HR, where she found that she had a natural gift for helping colleagues with work related and personal issues. This led to four years of study at Bristol University and in 2005 she was awarded a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling.
She is now a member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) and on the BACP Register with over ten years of experience of working with clients.
Since turning to counselling, Sally has helped people with a wide range of issues including post traumatic stress disorder, long and short-term injuries, critical illness, abuse, bereavement, anxiety, depression and many other presenting issues.
Sally practices person centred therapy which is a highly empathic, non judgemental form of counselling. She is a strong listener with the ability to help unravel personal issues at the individuals’ own pace and ensures that their safety is always paramount.
Outside her work, Sally is a fitness fanatic who is never happier than when running in the Queen Elizabeth and Victoria Parks, swimming at the London Aquatic Centre and working out at the East Village Gym or Copperbox Arena. She firmly believes in the benefits of exercise for both mental and physical health.
Sally is available 7 days a week. If the appointment time you are looking for isn't available online please call East Village front desk team on 0208 555 7165
